1. Who we are

Upkeep Index is a service of Altshuler Family Holdings LLC ("we", "us", "our"). Contact: hello@upkeepindex.com.

2. Information we collect

If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and, optionally, your company name. If you later purchase a subscription, payment card information is processed and stored by Stripe only; we do not directly store or have access to full card numbers.

3. How we use information

We use your email to send the single launch email you requested, and to operate your account if you subscribe. After launch, the waitlist is retired: we will not keep emailing waitlist addresses beyond the launch email unless you create an account or separately opt in. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Sharing

We share information only with service providers needed to operate the service (for example, email delivery, payment processing, and hosting), each bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations, and when required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Subscriber cost data and anonymity

This section applies to cost records submitted by paying subscribers for benchmarking, not to waitlist signup data. Cost records are stripped of vendor names, building names, and addresses before storage. Published benchmarks are aggregated and anonymous, and are not personal information.

6. Retention

We keep waitlist emails until you unsubscribe or the waitlist is retired after launch. Subscription account data is kept while your account is active and for a limited period afterward for business records (for example, tax and accounting records), unless a longer period is required by law.

7. Your choices and rights

You may unsubscribe from waitlist emails at any time using the link in the email. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@upkeepindex.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws; contact us and we will respond as required by law.

8. Cookies

This page does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics or tracking in the future, we will update this section before doing so.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information, but no method of internet transmission is completely secure.

10. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will post the updated version on this page with a new "last updated" date.
